Constantin holds an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University, an M.S. from Stanford University and a B.S. from University of Alexandra in Egypt. Constantin is an avid black and white photography collector and a classical music fanatic.

Ernest von Simson is Senior Partner and cofounder of Ostriker von Simson, a consultancy that formulates IT strategies for the assessment, acquisition, monitoring, and management of emerging technologies and technology-related ventures. von Simson and his partners also chair the CIO Strategy Exchange, which brings together CIOs from the largest multinational enterprises. He was cofounder of the Research Board, where he directed the professional staff in examining evolving business models, advanced technology, business applications and IT best practices. von Simson’s articles have appeared in Harvard Business Review, Computerworld, and Fortune. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Arcsight, Good Technology and Levanta. von Simson holds an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.A. from Brown University.
John Borchers is General Partner of Crescendo Ventures. Borchers joined Crescendo Ventures in 1997 and has played a leading role in developing the firm’s international presence. After spending nearly three years working in Crescendo’s London office, in 2003 he relocated to Palo Alto, where he focuses on investment opportunities in the enterprise infrastructure market. Borchers currently serves on the Board of Directors of Credant Technologies, Dust Networks, SealedMedia, StoneFly Networks and Transitive Corporation. Prior to joining Crescendo Ventures, Borchers worked in the data warehousing and predictive analytics fields where he held various operational roles including a two-year posting to Sydney, Australia, where he opened the first Asia Pacific office for a U.S.-based data warehousing firm. Borchers holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. from the University of Richmond.
Joseph is the Chief Financial Officer of Rising Tide and Newbury Ventures. He joined in 2008 and currently manages all financial affairs including investment valuation, financial reporting, investor relations, and SEC compliance. Kell has assisted portfolio companies with a variety of finance related initiatives including planning, reporting, consolidation, revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, and recruiting. Kell is currently on both the boards of BDNA and Delivery Agent. While at Rising Tide and Newbury, Joe was also Chief Financial Officer of Techwadi, Chief Financial Officer of Wearable World, and a member of the City of Pacifica, California’s Financing City Services Task Force. Prior to joining Rising Tide and Newbury Ventures, Joseph was a venture capital and technology focused audit manager at Ireland San Filippo, overseeing a portfolio of venture capital funds and venture-backed technology companies. Joe holds a BS in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
M. R. Rangaswami is Managing Director of Sand Hill Group LLC. Rangaswami cofounded Sand Hill Group, where he directs their investment, conference and media businesses. He has been a strategic advisor to several fast-growing software companies. Rangaswami has held global VP marketing positions at Baan Company, Avalon Software, and Oracle Corporation. He was profiled on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and has been named in Forbes’ “Midas 100 List” as one of the most influential investors in technology. He is also a popular speaker and moderator at many technology events. Rangaswami holds an M.B.A. from Kent State University and a B.A. from the University of Madras.

Walker is a reluctant leader, being an engineer at heart. During his career at Oracle, he developed a deep interest in the power of data once it is transformed into information. BDNA has provided Walker the opportunity to build a better way for clients to extract value from their existing data. When not working, which is not often, Walker enjoys spending time with family, playing ice hockey and coaching soccer. Walker holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of California, San Diego.
As CFO, Dave leads BDNA’s finance, human resources and legal teams, as well as applies his operational experience to support BDNA’s accelerated growth. Dave joins BDNA with more than 20 years of experience in finance, including holding senior finance positions at Apple, Yahoo and Microsoft. Most recently, he served as the chief financial officer at Symphony Communication Services, where he grew the finance and operations team while leading a $100 million equity financing for the company. Dave also served as the chief financial officer for Rhythm NewMedia, where he oversaw finance, administration and operations. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a B.S. in business economics and earned his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jay ScrogginsEVP of Engineering & Operations
Jay has over 20 years of experience developing, leading, and delivering technology solutions. Jay also provides his exceptional knowledge of software development and large asset management implementations. Most recently, Jay served as Senior Vice President for Enterprise Architecture at Wells Fargo, where in his role leading enterprise-wide technology initiatives he utilized BDNA’s solutions and developed a strong belief in the insight they offer. Jay previously held positions at Sun Microsystems, Red Hat, and Credit Suisse, as well as multiple startups.
Larry VaughanEVP of Worldwide Sales and Services
Larry is responsible for BDNA’s direct sales, partner channel/business development and services. He has more than 30 years of experience in sales and executive management in the hardware, software and professional services industries. Most recently, Larry served as Senior Vice President of worldwide sales at customer wireless solutions provider Meru Networks where he oversaw and led executive teams in North America, EMEA, and APAC. He has also previously held positions at Unisys, Nortel, Novell, BMC Software, and IBM.
