BDNA Corporation Integrates BDNA Insight to BMC Atrium CMDB

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., November 1, 2007 - BDNA Corporation, the leading provider of Global Technology Inventory solutions, announced it has joined the BMC Software MarketZone Program to populate Asset information in to the BMC Atrium Configuration Management Database (CMDB). BDNA's solutions focus on capturing inventory information across asset classes ranging from desktops to servers, printers, network devices and industry-specific equipment such as networked scanners and MRI devices and IP enabled military devices.
BDNA also announced today that the BDNA Accelerator for BMC Atrium CMDB has been certified for use with the BMC Atrium CMDB and through the AIE protocol, assuring customers a seamless, out-of-the-box connection of BDNA data into BMC Atrium CMDB. The integration of BDNA and BMC Atrium CMDB gives customers visibility into their IT infrastructure, enabling them to baseline and audit IT hardware and software operations and spend across the enterprise for complex, distributed and heterogeneous environments, such as government agencies and healthcare organizations.

- Populatetheir BMC Atrium CMDB with inventory of networked technology assets across the enterprise
- Maintain the BMC Atrium CMDB records over time by updating the CMDB with BDNA-discovered asset information including software inventory through BDNA's agent-less mechanism
- Identify gaps or discrepancies in their CMDB and quickly reconcile their records against the reality of their IT environment
