BDNA Insight
BDNA Insight creates a trusted, complete system of record for all assets and layers of IT resources, delivering the transparency and insight necessary to measure and manage the business of IT. Despite the magnitude of the enterprise investment in technology, few organizations have accurate, up-to-date information about the technology that powers the business. They lack the visibility to measure IT effectiveness, assess the impact of policies and decisions, and support IT accountability to the business as a whole.

The BDNA Catalog
The BDNA Catalog is a repository of IT content that drives the discovery, normalization and enrichment of the IT inventory discovered by BDNA Insight. First, the BDNA Catalog stores all the fingerprints used to identify hardware and software assets as well as their relationship. Second, the BDNA Catalog provides an exhaustive taxonomy for categorizing and normalizing discovered data. Finally, the BDNA Catalog provides extensive market data to enrich the collected IT inventory with relevant market data such as software support and hardware power consumption information. If BDNA Insight were a car, the BDNA Catalog would be the gas.

BDNA Maps
